Vols Play Oregon

i saw that on govols.com...pretty cool...that's one thing UT can always say, our ooc schedule usually has at least one opponent that is worth a crap...unlike some others out there....in the next few years, if i am not mistaken, we play Cal twice, UNC twice, NC State? (i thought it heard that we were going to play them...not sure though) and now Oregon....combine that with past games against Miami and ND...pretty strong if you ask me. No room for the Citadels and App st's of the world. Still would like to see a Big 12 or Big 10 opponent on the schedule though....

This isn't an official source, and it hasn't been updated with Oregon yet, but I found this:

Yes, I like our philosophy on out-of conference games. The "fillers" are all Conf USA/MAC type schools that are respectable programs (have we ever played a IAA school?) And they seem to put one major challenge on the ticket each year.

Yeah me too, I seen somewhere that we play Oklahoma but its awhile from now. I think it said like 2014. We signed a contract or something 2 play them then.

ah yes...everyone has to go thru it...you won't have any trouble, plenty of people on this board to get you fied up enough to let 'em have it probably every day! have fun and keep up the good work.

I liked the old duck unis. those were cool. these new ones, with the web look? uh, i don't know about those...the crowd though should look cool....Orange and Green....

and tidwell, is that a Myron Cope "Oye!"?

Too bad they do not play in 2006. We might get the Cooter-Beaver matchup that America has been waiting for.

Is there some Oregon state law that prohibits non-ugly uni's? The Beavers' dark brown and orange aren't exactly eye-pleasing, but the Ducks' solid yellow is the worst I've ever seen, although I admit I never saw the controversial Hawaii uni's this year.

The NBA's Blazers won't win any fashion awards, either.
