Well. I will be graduated by the time the Vols come to Oregon. Also, I plan on making it out to Berkeley in '07 to watch the Vols game at Cal.

And who made fun of the Blazers uniforms...? One of the best in the NBA, son. B)

Just too bad the front office is among the worst in pro sports :(

i saw that on govols.com...pretty cool...that's one thing UT can always say, our ooc schedule usually has at least one opponent that is worth a crap...unlike some others out there....in the next few years, if i am not mistaken, we play Cal twice, UNC twice, NC State? (i thought it heard that we were going to play them...not sure though) and now Oregon....combine that with past games against Miami and ND...pretty strong if you ask me.  No room for the Citadels and App st's of the world.  Still would like to see a Big 12 or Big 10 opponent on the schedule though....

HA sec vs. big 10 or big 12 we'd finally find out what a joke these other confernces really are now sept for TEXAS i think there the real deal

GO VOLS GO SEC

That article also said something about the Vols trying to get out of the 2009 trip to Marshall. Remember when Marshall tried to get out of next year's game at Knoxville, and UT said "No." The Marshall A.D. said he didn't believe UT really would go to Huntington in 2009. From the article, it appears that he was right. All of the future schedules look great, but I think that buying out the Marshall trip is the wrong thing to do. Play the game and beat them. There's a big Marshall fan in my class, so I'm sure I'll hear about it. As for other possible opponents, I'd like to see a home and home with either Michigan or Ohio State to match up the teams with the largest stadiums. And, more games with Notre Dame. GO VOLS

By the time we go to Oregon to play, milo will have graduated and gotten a job in Knoxville...and he will be complaining about not having the time or money to go to Oregon for the game.

Even though I love the Heels in basketball, I've never been. I will definitely be going to Chapel Hill for that game. Hopefully, I'll make it down there sooner for a bball game.

too bad the tar heel football fans don't know about it...

living in Charlotte, and i say this as someone that has no real opinion good or bad about UNC, the UNC football contingent is rather meek.

I for one, don't see any reason why that football program should not be winning 8 or more games a year and be a top 25 program. I've never been to CH, but like you say, i've heard it's absolutely beautiful, and lord knows the alumni base, fan base and money are there to do some good things with football.

I guess though, being a bball school, it's hard to divert that much attention from it, esp when your a standard bearer like UNC is in bball....

I compare it to why UT doesn't have a more dominant bball program...sure the fans are there, but if you poll fans, most would probably say football is what matters, if the men's bball is bad, no one really loses too much sleep over it...probably the same with unc football fans....

Whatever. West coast is home for me, the rest of the country is just a tourist destination.

I have lived in Arkansas since 1987, but Tennessee will always be my home.

*Knoxville, Tennessee = tourist destination.*

Naahhhhhhhhhh!!!

Oh well. Milo, in most other ways... :yourock:

Hey milo, curoous about something and this seems like a fitting place to ask, being an Oregon thread and all.

How did you (and vols2345 I suppose) become a Vols fan all the way out there? Did UT get ya'll in a package deal with Ainge or something? :D

Well. I am a HS mate of Ainge. And 2345 has lived in Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida before moving out to Oregon City.
