no way kentucky is the number 5 team in the nation. i am looking foward to kicking their a** this year

I may be naive, but I'm not shocked with the ranking. I know we have PG issues, but with the talent we have coming back, I think we deserve these rankings, and I'm a little miffed that we're not higher in the top ten.

And, UK is way overrated, IMO.

Look at their roster this year and then come back and say they don't deserve their ranking.

Will anyone on our team be able to guard John Wall? That matchup scares the heck out of me...

ive seen the roster. they have a lot of underclassmen that are unproven at the college level. im just saying number 5 is high when they are gonna be depending on guys who havnt played a game yet

It's usually easier for freshmen to make an immediate impact in basketball than it is in football. Just because they are young doesn't make them overrated.

being young makes UK overrated in my book. Hopson was supposed to be one and done too, he was an average player at best last year...I just wouldn't rank a team with that many unknowns that high esp. in the preseason, not saying they couldn't end the season that highly ranked

#10 is ridiculous. They obviously didn't see our halfcourt-D last year.

Helps recruiting. Always nice. Hopefully we finish season ranked this high.

Fortunately, the answer is that you just have to force him to shoot the ball. Unfortunately for us, we couldn't stop anybody's dribble penetration. If you can force Wall into jumpers, I think he won't do that much, but I'm not willing to say that we can do that.

saying "unknown" obviuosly doesn't mean the same thing to you and me. You have a team with 5 freshman they're going to be counting on...no one knows(unknown) how well they'll play together. I'm not saying they can't be that good...just an awfully high ranking for a bunch of high school kids yet to play a college game.

He's not anymore scary than Rose was. We did fine containing him.

#10 is a little high for us though, for sure.

I'm sorry, I thought this was a forum for discussing basketball. I didn't realize it was a place for expressing fantasies without reasoning.
