The loss to Willis hurts. I know stars don't matter and I know many of you will choose to respond to this msg as "Feb is a long time away." 1 month is not a long time to play catch up, I say we finish with a #9 - #15 class.

Not a terrible class just probably not top 10. Lots of negative things happening in our athletic department right now.

Oh yes, I forgot the famous "the sky is falling" response thanks for your originality. I am just a realist. A top 15 class is not a bad thing. I was just trying to point out a top 5 class is not happening this year, even if Chaz Green comes here.

We are #6 in the SEC right now... lets just try and get top 5 in our conference

Sorry, but a top 10 recruiting class on Jan. 3rd means precisely poop. NSD is what I care about and we are in good shape with a lot of top names!

A lot can change in a month, you obviously haven't followed recruiting very long...

Last year at this time we weren't even in the top 25. Look how that turned out. Kiffin and O will not let a recruit say "no thanks" and accept it until the very end.

I'll be shocked if we don't end up at least in the top 7. I still think we end up with a top 5 class.

Yeah, great idea. Let's just settle for mediocrity. You are rooting for the wrong team and coach with that attitude. Are you sure you are not a closet Vanderbilt fan or something?

Honestly, I'm sick of the negativity. If you can't handle the ups and downs of recruiting shut up and get out. Dear lord I never knew we had so many sniveling, whiny, little pansies in our fan base until this year. Seriously try to get a freaking grip, we will finish strong. We've taken a lot of bad hits this year with the hostess deal, negative recruiting, and losing coaches. People forget just how much ground was made up last year in a short period of time. We'll finish top five this year.

The guys from Rival.com probably know about as much as some of us out there. get out of the stars and look forward to who we are going to get and are working on than who is not coming.....aka Newton, Willis etc

I still believe we're going to end up with a top 10 class. Even if this class is only #8-10, it is still a very awesome class. Plus, if this coaching staff is as good as we all think it is, these coaches will be able to coach up these guys ,and it won't really matter how many stars each recruit has.

People need to remember, we are a 7-6 football team right now. You look at the schools with the top classes in the country and they are consistently getting 10 or 11 win seasons. For a 7-6 team to even have a chance at a top 5 class speaks volumes for how good our coaches are at selling the program despite the on field results.

So basically by us losing Willis it dropped us from 6th to 11th? So we could easily gain a player that was rated the same as Willis & jump right back up to 5th or 6th?

Im counting Green & Cullen as Vol locks, both are 4* so that will defianetly bump us up in the rankings. Were going to add more quality guys to this class, will we end up 1, 2, or 3? Probably not but I'd be willing to bet we end up with a top 6 class.

We have 9 spots left to fill and Michael Taylor is going to move up to a 4star as well. We will finish in top 7 easy...

The hostess-gate thing is hurting recruiting........other coaches are implying that theNCAA is investigating (I personally think Slive is allowing this to go on). Plus, even the basketball hoodlum arrests is hurting football recruiting. We just need to hold on and get a top 10-15 class.
