Now for the reality check..... 3-0.

The Vols are 3-1 versus Florida the last 4 seasons, including 2-0 at Florida.  The shine is about to come off new Florida coach Urban Meyer after he plays the best defense he's EVER coached against.  This ain't the MAC or MtnWest!!!  Just for perspective, at this same point in his career as Urban Meyer... Fulmer only had one less victory WHILE COACHING IN THE SEC.

LSU is also breaking in a new coach.  Special teams saved them in the 4th quarter against Arizona State, but their offense looked terrible.  LSU will have a hard time scoring on the Vols during the day, during the night, in Baton Rouge or anywhere else.

And if your judging the Vols based on a solid 17-10 victory over a good UAB.... let's examine opening games of the past (SEC Champhionship Teams).....

1998 Tennessee 34, Syracuse 33 (Vols finish 13-0, ranked 1st)
----- The Vols beat Florida 20-17 in overtime the next week.
1997 Tennessee 52, Texas Tech 17 (Vols finish 11-2, ranked 7th)
------ The Vols beat UCLA in Pasadena 30-24 the next week.
1990 Tennessee 31, Colorado 31 (Vols finish 9-2-2, ranked 7th)
------ The Vols won the next 3 games 55-7, 40-7, and 56-0
1989 Tennessee 17, Colorado State 14 (Vols finish 11-1, ranked 5th)
-----  The following week, the Vols beat 6th ranked UCLA in Pasadena 24-6
1985 Tennessee 26, UCLA 26 (Vols finish 9-1-2; ranked 4th)
-----  The following week, the Vols upset #1 Auburn 38-20

I may be nuts, but I think the toughest game will be when we come back home to play Georgia. Not saying that LSU and Florida can't beat us, but the reality is that we are going to be the first real test for both teams after undergoing a coaching change and installing systems. That would seem to bode well for us.

And don't forget, these Vols have thrived not only as underdogs, but played very well against ranked teams on the road. Alot of times, confidence means everything. And don't think the Vols offense will be as vanilla as it was against UAB..... Fulmer never tips his hand prior to the Florida game.

Ga will not be a cakewalk that's for sure! Shockley moved the ball pretty good against us last yr (surpised me that they stuck with Greene like they did)

It's all good bro! I think LSU will play much better against UT at home and at night...thats why I'm thinking the 1-2.
