Don't be surprised if they move the game to the Benz. This will be a fun (and likely more competitive game than many expect) and Tech will want as many tickets sold as possible. I'm sure the extra 25K they can fit into the Benz will mean this one is a great game to move. Imo, this will be treated as a marque game and Nebraska would have been just another game on the tube.
Yikes…..we’ve been to several volleyball tournaments at the Georgia International Convention Center and every time we hear about windows being smashed. They got our coach once too.
Dirty Mike and The Boys could have had a soup kitchen in thereFor a while there man, I just unhooked my car battery and left me car doors standing wide open every night when I parked in front of our house in Home Park (kind of the area just to the northwest of campus where a large number of students live).
There was absolutely nothing of value in there.
Figured worst thing that could happen is a bum sleeping in my decades old Honda and that was preferable to spending $120 I didn't have at the time on a new window lol.
My point was Tenn/GT would be a very marketable game for ESPN for the reasons you mentioned. Tenn/Neb...not so much. With UGA being off the schedule, it would seem to be a perfect time to play a home and home with Tech and Tech's home game being in the Benz.I already responded on the change to the MB Dome in an earlier post. Kinda forgot they had that agreement now.
Honestly man, I disagree-and I went to Tech as an undergrad lol
UT and Tech are somewhat joined at the hip historically in so many ways it's not even funny. The two of them pairing up is always an event, but I have seen Tech and UT play at least 4 times in my middle aged life.
Now that we are at least "respectable" at playing football again-lets take the show on the road a little bit. Trust me, the networks WOULD NOT allow that game to be "just another game". Two historical programs who have been down, etc etc. They would have played it up for weeks.
Guess we know now that the Cornhuskers are afeared of us paying them back for that beating they put on is in early 98. No more no less.
