I've been offered a job in Memphis and don't know much (good) about it, how is Cordova? It it a hassle to commute? Is there a 'good' part of Memphis that a recent college grad could afford?

No worries....what part of Memphis is the job in? I can help you determine. Cordova isn't bad. If you can afford it, try to get a place out in Lakeland or Arlington.

I would steer clear of Southeast Memphis...(well west of Hacks Cross).

The address of the office is 3400 Players Club Parkway - not exactly sure where that is in Memphis. What about Desoto Co MS? I hear Southaven is OK?

Well that is on the good side of Hacks Cross, that is about 3-4 miles from where I work (I work on Shelby Drive (on the bad side of Hacks Cross). I would actually look at Southaven or Olive Branch if you're working over there. Or there are some nice apartments over that way as well. Close shopping to OB and Southaven (cheaper sales tax), got some decent restaurants as well. I wouldn't live in Cordova, you'll be spending a fortune in gas.

Crappy part is I can see them both repeating. Bama should be loaded as usual, and it seems like one loss is still good enough to cut it for the BCSMNCG out of the SEC these days. As for Kentucky in hoops, who knows with the tourney from year to year, but if World Wide Wes, EERRRRR Cal, keeps landing the big name one-and-dones, no reason to expect they couldn't do it again.

I am still trying to figure out WHY UK fans are coming over to a TENNESSEE site and running their mouths...If any of us went to Catpaws or whatever the hell that site is called and said "Go Vols" We would be banned..FAST..Yet these goobers come over here for whatever reason to talk trash on our boards....WTF
