Vols Scrimmage Info?

Vols won by more than 20.

Starters were:
Golden
McBee
Jordan
Hall
Stokes

Thanks.

Where'd you see this, or you have an insider?

Had a bit of a feeling the, josh would be our starter, wasn't going to last or was a bluff. McRae was probably the most praised player this off season, hope it continues through the year.

i wouldnt be very surprised by sec time if richardson/edwards replaced mcrae at the 3 and mcrae replaced mcbee at the 2...........if mcbee's minutes are around 15 per game it would be a very good thing for ut.
dont misunderstand me on this, im not down on mcbee at all the minute decrease would mean the younger/more athletic players would be stepping up their games.

You're preaching to the choir sir...I've benn calling McRae & Edwards starting at the 2/3 since the end of this past year. It may take til conference, but I think it'll happen.

If nothing else I expect by conference McRae and Edwards will be getting starter minutes atleast...20+ minutes.

Some info in this thread is off.

It wasn't a straight up scrimmage....They had certain set ups like 8 min segments and things of that nature.

Only stats kept were assist, rebounbs and turnovers.

No official score was kept.

I would say Tennessee was the better team but it wasn't the beatdown that I've read from the UT side.

Golden is good, very good...Tennessee played smart.

Good to know about the bolded line because that is what I predicted in my thread.

How did you come about this information?

That is not what was indicated by Quinn or Lowe. Both were there I believe.

I have it on good authority that UT rolled over the Yellow Jackets, winning comfortably by 20-plus points.

- Quinn

I trust his sources. I'm think he's pretty close to the program

I'm all for Edwards starting at SF. McRae is better served as sixth man IMO. The team also plays better with his energy coming off the bench.

Team GA TECH on Sunday in Chattanooga. It was private with no media allowed. Supposedly TN easily handled the jackets and won by at least 20 points. Does anyone have any individual stats from the game?

Interesting to see Hall starting... Just with his history and all the buzz he created last year.

I like scrimmages like this. I think it helps prepares the team better.

Yep, it sure as hell is better than going up against a Div III school that they should wax. Well unless they're from Indianapolis. These are at least legitimate Div I players that UT will be seeing in the SEC night in and night out.

Heard Trae took one shot from the field, was just dropping dimes, getting to the line, and setting guys up.

Mcbee went 6-8 from three point land

And it's starting to sound like a broken record...stokes was unstoppable.
