That writer has the overall record, best win, and the weekend rotation incorrect. Clearly didn't do much research at all.

he may be correct in his prediction however the rest of the article was just "Fake News".

Thats why I like D1 Baseball so much. They may have their biases however they are generally factually correct and on point.

Someone mentioned Schmidt didn't even travel.

I was torn with going 1-2 as the Vols have let me down the last several years.....I'm still optimistic so far this season.

added a Rule change to my 1st post, here it is if you don't see it on the first page:

EDIT:

Rule change #1, if you pick the Vols to win the series 2-1, and the Vols get HOT and take the series with a sweep, you get 2 points. If you predicted the sweep you still get 5. Hey, we all love the sweep!

If you pick the Vols to get Swept and they Sweep, -10 points.

Also, if there is an EDIT after the game starts on your post, your prediction doesn't count....

If you pick the Vols to get swept, you need to go back to the miserables in the football forum. :)

Week 1 pick'em is closed......updated scores will be posted sometime Sunday evening. Pick'em for next week starts anytime after Sunday up until 1st pitch next Friday.

As noted prior, you don't have to pick each week, total points at the end of SEC play wins.....

I'm dead wrong vols lost the 1st 2 to the Great Camecocks, and have 1 more game to play to avoid the dreadful sweep.

I'm going to start a separate thread for each week, I can tell it may get a little confusing having to search for appropriate pick'em weeks......so if you respond in this thread for week 2 against Miss State please respond in the new one.
