It has been music to my ears this spring to see positive things concerning young Elijah Simmons being put into print. If he has it all together, look out SEC. A reminder for those that didn't know he was a 300 plus pounder in high school that ran a leg for his sprint relay team at Nashville's Pearl Cohn. That ain't shabby, but if he finally has his conditioning together, he could be a difference maker on our DL.

I think Nico gave it to Bray after, Bray cut his hand on a beer bottle while he was showing Milton how far he could throw the bottle
For the youngsters Tyler Bray wore number 8,and was a professional beer bottle tosser, also had his own name tatted on his back

That goes back to what I said earlier about knowing when and where though. Hopefully it won't be an issue.

He saw how guys like Butler carried themselves. But I guess a lot of that comes from Coach Garner.

Tyree Weathersby and Chandavian Bradley still aren’t on campus practicing. Can you imagine the DL depth with those two added to the group?

On top of that, RG is going to continue to add to that line. Our DL is really coming a long way from where it was.

I tend to believe that the way our DL is coached it helps our OL seeing that every day. Competition is real. When you have to 100% every single rep because the guy across from you is top flight talented. It makes you a better player. Rankings matter in the fact if you are ranked high you probably have great talent. The question I have with some highly ranked guys is work ethic and being coachable. I think we have seen some of that in past years. This staff 1000% does more with less. I am excited about the journey this year.

Haven’t read much about Norman-Lott, but I’d expect him to be a solid member of the DT rotation. Between Thomas, Eason, Simmons, Norman-Lott, Terry, and Garland, that’s a fantastic DT rotation.

Yep, and who's the 270 pound middle linebacker from Memphis that now weighs 300 plus and plays DT? Dude made progress last year. We could have one hell of a defensive line...........

I think Bryson Eason is who you’re thinking about. Hoping he has a breakout year along with the rest of those guys.

They will love him if he gets us into contention. Some may even admit they were wrong and talk about how they prefer their crow to be prepared for ingestion.

They will make sure that you know they told you so if he has a bad season.

Eason may start beside Thomas.
Regardless Garland, Simmons and Terry will rotate heavily.
Omat/Lotts time is 2024 to really start making an impact imo.
