First and foremost, Tennessee needs to win out. IF they can carry the momentum of the Vandy game, that shouldn't be an issue.

AND

Tennessee needs Vandy to lose @UK OR vs. Florida.

A lot that needs to happen but its certainly possible. If we take care of business and win out then I think we will lock up the bye. UGA ain't winning at Florida and Vandy never wins in Rupp.

I'm not sure if you've watched this UK play on the road, but if Tennessee plays half as well as they did in closing out Vandy, that game won't be an issue.

Right after the UGA game, I said we had a good chance of beating UK and people were telling me how wrong I was. They're 1-6 on the road in the SEC. The SEC. I'm starting to think it would be a disappointment if we didn't beat them here.

I would personally rather play on the opening day. Our depth won't hurt us in a tourney setting, and to be honest. I would rather tally another win in the SEC tourney and hope it may bump us a seed. I'd love to play AU or LSU as the SEC #3 seed to start off the weekend.

Go Vols!!!

UK is very susceptible to getting beat outside the confines of Rupp, but by no means should any of us be counting on that game as a win. Terrence Jones is a nightmare matchup for Tobais. At least Tobais should be more healthy this go round, but Tobais got owned in Lexington and that killed us.

Go Vols!!!

Playing Auburn or LSU kills the RPI. Getting rest is good. And the East #2 is probably the best possible seed for getting through the tournament, as the Friday matchup is against the winner of South Carolina and SECWest#3. Other than that, being the 3 seed would be fine.

if we win out, i think we will be a 2 seed, georgia's loss tonight helps. vandy should lose at rupp and alabama should take care of georgia next week. as we're saying, the big one is beating ky. we need that 2 seed for the extra day off. it is hard to win 4 straight days. i believe we will end up a 2, if we play the way we did the last 13 minutes against vandy. :salute: :salute: :salute::salute:

UGA is out of it for the 2 seed now. All we need is to win out and Vandy to suffer one more loss.

Have you watched UK play on the road???? If UT plays half as good against UK as they did against Vandy, they'll get drilled. They had better play as well as they can play or we will lose...JMO

UNC 75-UK 73 lost by 2

UGA 77-UK 70 lost by 7

Bama 68-UK 66 lost by 2

Miss 71-UK 69 lost by 2

Fla 70-UK 68 lost by 2

Vandy 81- UK 77 lost by 4

Ark 77- UK 76 lost by 1 in OT

Not exaxctly stinking up the joints. Would not be so cocky about there road woes, not like there losing by double digits...JMO

It's not like we are the San Antonio Spurs at home you know..LOL Not trying to be negative, and I think we beat UK as well. We have lost 5 home games this year already. We are not much better at home than they are on the road...

You're forgetting they were playing SEC teams in those road games. They're 7-6 in conference. They're nothing special.

Don't think they are special either. Like I said, I think we beat them in Knoxvillle. They have not, however, been out of any road game this year, as the scores show. Just sayin that at 7-6, not so sure we are very special either. Thats all..GBO

But look at which SEC teams those are... All teams that beat us (except Vandy).

Our home record is nearly as woeful as their away record.
