In his post game press conference you can tell Hype hates to lose. It kills him as you can tell that. Also he knows his team got totally mugged by bummer allowed by those officials to sway the game and momentum. He has things going in the right direction and have not played well at times vs Florida and Bummer (two of our biggest rivals). Hopefully we finish this year strong and next year will be a tough go but ncaa is not breathing down our necks and have to continue to get better talent to fill the gaps through the portal and HS taltent. Like someone posted earlier on this thread those five and six win years are in the rearview mirror. The league gets tougher with Texas and Oklahoma coming in next year but Josh is getting our program back on solid ground and he is also learning on the job in the SEC.

They're solid players but they're not elite. That's the point the OP is trying to make. You're not going to beat elite teams with "solid" talent. You need elite talent. We're getting there, slowly but surely. However like I said in another thread, as fans we're going to have to be willing to play the long game. We're not an overnight sensation program. Never have been.
