What makes this team even more amazing is that were winning without a "traditional" lineup. The announcers kept on making the point that bcause of Buckman's injury, Texas had 2 guys playing out of position. Well for the whole year we've had to play with two undersized forwards, and lack of depth on the bench. What Coach Pearl has done with this team just keeps amazing me, and he just outcoached the hell out of Rick Barnes today. I can't wait until SEC play!!!

I didn't get to see any of it, but I heard parts of it on the radio. First I heard the Vols were up 23-5. :eek:

Great win by the Vols and Pearl... just hope they don't let this go to their head. I'm sure Pearl won't allow that.

Wasn't Texas without two of their best players today?

Not that I care, the Vols still spanked a top 10 team. :rock:

I missed the second half. The first half was total domination from the get go. Texas looked confused and had 0 solutions for the VOLS. It was like they had never watched any game tape. I LOVE IT. Blow out city baby.

This was the 1st BB game I've got to watch this year! All I can say is WOW. We really looked very sharp. I'm not much into BB but you could really tell how disciplined and well coached every player was in all areas of the game. I will be looking forward to the rest of their games this year. GO VOLS!! :yahoo:

Yeah - after the first half Texas was Toast - that was their shade of scorched orange.

Big win guys... I watched a lil of the UK game as well. Not sure what is going on at Texas but they have too many good players to be playing this bad.

When UT gets and inside game to compliment that outside game they will be really good. Until then, it will be like UF of the past few seasons..live and die by the 3. UT will not shoot 3's that good everynight.
