We all remember the Mannings, Jamal Lewis, Deon Grants, John Hendersons of Tennessee.

But what about the little guy. The one that started put forth his best effort but then either went to the CFL or now sales cars.

Just some cats I remember

Constatain Ritzman
Corey Larkins
Leonard Scott
Paul Yatkowski (He wore #99 and recovered a fumble one year, It's just a memory that always sticks out in my head, cause in the press conference he sounded funny cause he was from Canada)
Nilo Silvan
Craig Faulkner
John Becksvoort
Shawn Summers

Whats some guys you remember that aren't as well known.

Jimmy Streater
Roland Poles -- Terrific run blocker, not many touches as ball carrer but would bust a head or two when he did.

Travis Stephens... he was the hardest runner I've seen play football at the University of Tennessee.

Ritzman was one of my favorite players of all time. The hessian train!

I also loved Kelly Washington until he turned into an Ego maniac he is somewhere in the NFL but I can't remember.

Will Bartholemew owns (along with partner(s?)) D1 Sports Training centers. He was def. one of my favorites - as was JJ McClesky. There's plenty of others, but there names slipped my mind! :)

Kelly Ziegler
Mark Hovanic
Darren Miller

To me Dale Jones is one of the all-time great linebackers that ever played at Tennessee, and as far as a all around QB i have never seen a better one than Tony Robinson.

Here's another vote for Travis Stephens.

I was enrolled at UT during his senior year, so he holds a special place in my Vol memories. I'll never forget how he willed us to beat Uga, before the coaches got outcoached. Or the Florida game that year. I remember being with my closest friends watching that game and just being amazed at him putting up 200 yards against Florida, the #2 team, on the road, playing for the Sec Championship. It was unbelievable. We were so pumped that we ran out into the courtyard of what was called College Park at the time and there was almost everyone that lived there, it seemed like. We were singing, dancing, someone started a bonfire...surreal. I went out the next morning to by the newspaper and it took me awhile because some places had sold out...and this was BEFORE church let out. I still have on my wall the front page..."Later, Gator!". Ah, sweet victory.

All because of Travis Stephens. He truly gave his all for Tennessee that year.

I remember hearing him interviewed after he got drafted by the Bucs. He said the coaches thought he would fill Warrick Dunn's old role perfectly. Its a shame that it didnt work out for him.

I played golf a few weeks ago with Aaron Hayden and Kendrick Jones. Then a couple of days later I saw the come from behind win against S.Carolina (Tanneyhill) with those guys.

Sorry - forgot to mention that Kendrick is an airport policeman and Aaron is a partner in a phramacutical company. They have a standing tee time every week.
