Why do people get so upset about who's announcing the game? It rarely bothers me who the play-by-play and color guy are. I just watch game and try to enjoy. They don't bother me, none of them. Only I ever really didn't like was John Madden. He kept repeating same ole silly bits each game. Just wondered why some get upset by networks or the announcing crews.

Because Verne and Gary are awful. Constantly saying the wrong player names. "I don't know they, may be short" when the player is short by 5 yards. I could go on, but it will just make me angry for two weeks haha

Having to listen to Verne yell "Got it!" every time the other team get a first down like he just won the lottery is plain annoying.

cbssports.com does a very good job of streaming the game with none of that blackout crap that ESPN3 does. Plus, the feed is much better quality. This is my "Game of the Year" every year and always will be. Go Vols!

As far as Dish, if enough complain, they will resolve their 'differences'.

That is what you have to do. I faced the same problem on this exact week , one year ago. Charter Communications and CBS were all set to part ways and enough people called and told Charter that is CBS were dropped, then they would subsequently, drop Charter. The "deadline" came and went, and lo and behold, CBS was still on Charter.

I don't really have a problem with Verne. Gary Danielson annoys the hell out of me, constantly shoving his "expert" analysis down your throat

Unfortunately, he's tied with Blackledge as the best analyst IMO

I think the same people that complain about the announcers are the same people complaining about the game in Bristol!
