No updates today?

I have no idea what the score is or what inning it's in.

no problem I am keeping people updated on the EKU forums as well, just wish the Colonels fans supported baseball as much as football and basketball

4-2 going into the bottom 6th

Hmm... well he was bad at Western Carolina too.

I know it's Western Carolina but they play other bad teams.

If Raleigh isn't at least 5 games over .500 when the season ends, I expect him to be fired. It's getting hard to justify Raleigh being the head coach with his below average resume while Phil Garner is sitting around doing nothing.

Does Phil Garner even want the Tennessee job? I know he played here but would he be interested?

Things I have read about Coach Raleigh he was very well respected for the job he did at Western Carolina.

I dont judge him by that but by the job he is doing at Tennessee.

I love the recruits he has brought in slowly turning us from a small ball team to a more powerful team.

I agree though that the wins must start to come soon.

I have no idea if Phil Garner would be interested. I think he would be though. He's been sitting around for a couple years. He's only 60 so there is a good chance he is bored. I would would like to think he'd be interested.

Raleigh... I want him to succeed. I really do because I want the Vols to win. Two seasons below .500 and a possible 4-3 start isn't giving me much hope though. Vols could easily come back to win today but it sounds like they are struggling.

it's not the team keeping fans away, it's that it's a miserable time of the year to play a late srping / summer sport.

hard to sit through a midweek game fearing you may get frostbite

I agree 100% with you. If it was 65 degrees and somewhat comfortable then there would be a lot more at the baseball games.

True, I don't know how the weather is in Knoxville, but it has been snowing for at least 3 hours in Johnson City, and sitting outside watching a baseball game in a snow shower is not exactly in the top 100 of my to do list.

If I were interviewing Todd Raleigh....

Me: How does it feel to coach Tennessee?

TR: I love it!

Me: Oh.... well hate to give you this news but uh, you're fired!

Todays loss confirmed everything I thought about him. He's a bad coach.

:(

Another bad loss for Todd Raliegh. He deserves to be coaching college baseball about as much as smokey does.

Weak effort by vols.. Bullpen has been pitching their tails off all year. Our bats need to come alive and quit leaving runners on base

how do you blame batting when we score 7?

giving up 8 is the problem.

we have a pretty good weekend rotation it seems, we need a good 4th starter on the mound, it seems.
