Bama is out of Hoover for certain. The other team that doesn't qualify is very much uncertain. This weekend really put Tenn on the good side of the bubble but I don't see those last 2weeks being relaxing for the Vols and being solidly in the field of 10.

Yes it gave them major needed wins but they've only played one road series for division games so far.

As far as relaxing likely not going to be relaxing at all with how open the SEC East is with excepetion to The UK Wildcats that has already beaten both the Gamecocks, UG Dawgs, and Vols.

I am saying that the Vols will go into that last weekend conference schedule having to win games or get some help to make Hoover.

Its not. Except for 1 and 2 for the leaders of each division. I think firestorm means "conference" instead of "division". Worst 2 conference records are out.

Also, we need to not be looking to back into the tournament. We need to be at least 9th to have a chance at a regional. We should really bust a gut to be .500 in conference.

I think we found a team that makes as many or more baserunning mistakes as Tennessee. The Vols also got away with some blunders on Sunday In fact.

This sweep could spark the Vols into not needing help the last weekend if they take care of business before the last weekend gets here. I know Bama is not where they were but it's still wins and mentally it helps.

Exactly. The Vols won a series but the rest of the teams aren't going to be as horrid as the Crimson Tide, add in still 7 weeks to play it could still go South for the Vols.

If the Vols can win 2 more conference series it would hugely help them, along with as you said avoiding getting swept.
I think 12 or under 12 wins in the SEC will keep them from getting into the tournament.
13 to 15 is Favorable
16 Wins or above is very favorable
