Beat Bama in 84 also wearing the all orange.

Buhhh...if I ever see a UT helmet without the Power T on it, it better look f'n unbelievable or I will be extremely upset. I do wish we had an alternate orange helmet, and I'm all for new uniforms on occasion, but I never want to see a Tennessee helmet without the Power T.

Although I am a proponent of some conservative alternative uniforms ( and have been flamed well done for it),
I have to say that I much prefer the traditional orange and white for this game.
Enough is already being done with the checkerboard motif ( which I love and appreciate). I think we should go pure old school uni's and let the play on the field make the statement this time. I want the traditional uni's all over the highlight reels with pomp and flair in the stands with the fans.
Sends the message " the team is back, reclaiming their tradition and the fans are digging it!"

I actually thought Oregon's unis looked sharp. Honestly better than when teams try to wear pink accents on colors that don't go with it. At least they just did black and pink.

I'm still biased against all orange because the first time I saw them wear that combo was in 1988 when Bama beat us 56-28. Before the game against USCe last year, did we ever win a big game wearing that combo?

As others have said we ended the streak against Alabama in 82 wearing all orange. We also wore that combo in 79 when we absolutely crushed Notre Dame.

Didn't the all orange look start in Coach Majors first season in 1977? Wasn't a great season (4-7), but I think the Vols came out in all orange and wore out Vandy 42-7 in the last game of that season.
