You guys think all these bad ass legacies are going to continue to lose games and keep UT in the cellar? These guys have Orange running in their veins. No more Lolly gagging.

Full retard................but seriously, I will be shocked if we stay within 14 points of them in Norman. I've seen crazier things though.

Or freshmen being a guarantee for instant success?

These are not Dooley project 3 and 4*s. They are highly sought after by big time programs and a number of them bleed orange like no other class before them. Freshman in college football over the last few years have made huge impacts for their teams. Kind of like college basketball players now days.

Some freshmen have made huge impacts over the past few years, but certainly not the majority of them. It's not a guarantee of success just because they are highly ranked.

Having said that to say this, it's hard to think we get an entire class of duds.

Is Oklahoma not recruiting any players to go with the good ones they already have?

Just like we beat Oregon. Can't believe it's already starting lol

I understand off-season optimism but if I were Internets savvy I'd reload the Oregon gameday thread will all the predictions of victory.

It should be required reading for the next season or 2. Come 2016, no excuses. :good!:

I believe that 10-15 of these players will have big impacts and 1-2 will be freshman all american.

Or just some have made major impacts, but not a majority or all players from a single class making the type of impact being implied here starting from day 1.

The truth. Because 5-7 would suck again.. no VolNation, we won't beat Oklahoma, but that's ok -- really it is...

If we can beat Vandy, UK and perhaps Miss or Florida we can get to 6. 6 is all it takes, NEVol is right. smile....

Slow roll this thing people. This class will still be freshmen in the fall. Almost everyone they play against will have been a highly sought after prospect with experience at the FBS level and a team that handed Bama their hat. Landing a big class and then winning with that class in their first year are two different things.

That is so sad....but true. I'd reluctantly take 6-6 at this point. :mf_surrender:

Yeah, that's what I meant. Over the couple thousand or so freshmen that get recruited or walk on to the Division 1 programs, there are only a few that ever truly stand out and make a significant impact on the national stage from day one.

This is the kind of class that can turn a program around in one year. I understand what a lot of you are saying, in that it's rare for so many to have an impact as freshman but these guys are Volunteers all the way through. You will remember their names. They will rise from the ashes and prove the masses wrong with the determination they show on saturdays.

Their gonna stomp a mudhole in UT and then stomp it dry. Sorry but we have a better chance of beating 'bama. That said, anything can happen in four quaters of football so GBO.
