Vols will beat the Sooners

Yeah, that's what I meant. Over the couple thousand or so freshmen that get recruited or walk on to the Division 1 programs, there are only a few that ever truly stand out and make a significant impact on the national stage from day one.

Tennessee alone had two in North and Sutton. Odds are we will get at least another 2 this year. I'd bet we get more then that.

North and Sutton, while having a great freshmen years, did not make national level impacts. For that we are talking Winston, Manzeil, Hackenberg, Yeldon, Gurley, etc.

<sigh> I know, but not really.

Actually, I'm trying to think of a true freshman player that had a breakout game against us in recent memory. Can't think of one.

Amari Cooper lit UT up in 2012. I'm not sure if he was a true FR. I think he was.

The QB for FL this past year wasn't a FR but he had never thrown a pass in a game and we basically made a highlight film for him.

He was a frosh last year and had a great season overall.

This is the kind of class that can turn a program around in one year. I understand what a lot of you are saying, in that it's rare for so many to have an impact as freshman but these guys are Volunteers all the way through. You will remember their names. They will rise from the ashes and prove the masses wrong with the determination they show on saturdays.

Those specs sound like they're pretty thick right now.

I think we're more fast twitch on the defense, and our QB is sure to have some serious pocket presents. We win, book it. Vol lock.

RF is going to be sittin pretty back there in the pocket thinkin, " North, Malone, Pearson, Pig, Jenkins, Helm....what OU defender should i embarrass this time?"

Neglecting that the entire o-line has to be replaced with new guys there.

So UT plans on blocking them with 4 lineman?

That's a bold strategy. Let's see how it works out.
