I'm definitely not worried. Just stating a fact. People said the same thing about cp prior to him playing a game and guess what...It's good to have guys with those kind of expectations

Just hope for one difference, CP NEVER went to class, not one, not once. He had no choice but NFL because he could not have stayed anyway.. Something tells me CBJ will make sure that this young man goes to class.

I hope he is smart enough to stay if he is projected to go in an early round, cause we could seriously be contending for a trip to Atlanta in 2015 if the team as a whole stays healthy enough..JMHO

This is simply a lie.. don't know where you get your info from, but you need a new source..

He did stop going to class after he saw he would be a first rounder, but he most definitely did attend classes starting out.(He just didn't do very well in them at all)

I had a class with CP and this was the case. By week 3 or 4 he pretty much stopped showing up.

But he was in class the first few weeks.

Well, this explains this year's team's improved GPA. Lol

with CP everyone with football acumen knew it. Chavis said he was the best juco playa he'd ever seen.

I spoke with Chaney not long after DR was booted and he said, "No worries. This guy will make you forget him." Add his track film and physical credentials.

I've seen one video highlight of VP abusing Sutton.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. But, impressed so far.

Straight to Canton! He's being measured for his gold blazer as I type this.

I believe if he stays healthy he'll be preparing for the draft this time next year. Hopefully we get a lot of production out of him

I think he has already proven he is an early first rounder in the scrimmages. He should take a self appointed red shirt and declare on draft day without a scratch on him. No use letting the SEC beat him up....mild sarcasm!

Haha. Good stuff. One consultation... Hes really the only wr we risk losing early. North and Malone are still 1 and 2 years (respectively) from declaring early and being top 3 overall picks in the draft.

Seriously though, you can't deny the similarities between vp and cp. If he stays healthy and puts up big numbers this year... He gone!

I agree it's great to have guys who have the potential to be one and done. I am not saying VP is that guy, but if he is, it's better to have him for that one year than not at all.

:lolabove:Hear, Hear! Hope he's all SEC and All American.:clapping: Then...whatever.
GO VOLS!

I don't understand why everyone is dismissing the hype around VP.

This is a legit question and the hype is certainly justified.

He's longer and more polished than CP while having CP's shiftiness and athleticism.

Stop dismissing every positive post about a player as nonsense. I honestly don't see why some of you even watch this team if it makes you that angry or rude as a person. The 'smartass' level around here is off the charts.

Good question OP.

I Beleive inexperience at QB and a stable of WRs will prevent him from putting up crazy numbers. Maybe 45 catches for 600 yards

So you're predicting Dobbs or Ferguson?
