"I feel I got to know a lot about it, and it's a great place," Smalls said of FSU. "But I need to see the season no matter what. How are they going to be on the field? All the training, weight lifting, preparation ... I need to see how that translates on the field, and we will go from there.
"Sometime in August, I will narrow it down to six teams. It's obvious they will be in there."
Smalls added that if FSU shows dramatic improvement on the field, "it would be over the top. But I need to see it happen."
He also added that he doesn't plan to make a college decision until February.
Do remember the first finals Lebron went to in 2007? He essentially carried the CAVS to that finals, but Cleveland was ultimately swept by the Spurs. Not shocking at all due to the fact San Antonio was absolutely stacked and had the best coach in the NBA in Pop. Do you think Kobe could have taken that same Cleveland squad to the finals? Lebron was surrounded by a bunch of scrubs like Anderson Varjao, Zydrunas illgauskas, & Daniel Gibson. In fact, Kobe was unable to win anything once Shaq left. The Lakers had to acquire players like Gasol, Bynum etc. in order for them to have a championship roster again. Don’t get me wrong Kobe is top ten all time but don’t sell Lebron short. I do agree with you about Jordan though. Neither of those guys are on the same level as 23.Neither could sniff Jordan’s, much less carry it. And yes, give me Kobe over Lebron. Lebron blows.
