I agree but from what I've read Fischer is not letting petrino truly run the offense. He jus won't let go. Petrino truly scares me. He is an offensive genius. When u take Arkansas to a top 5 finish u know ur good. And look what he did with Lamar Jackson

Yeah, I am kind of worried more about Petrino that Jimbo. I think everyone figured out Jimbo's offense like 7 years ago and nobody bothered to tell him.

On the other hand, I'm not sure how much Petrino has left in the tank. His little incident with the intern was a long time ago. Wasn't he the OC at UNLV (briefly) before accepting the Aggie gig? Pretty obvious few if any ADs still have any faith in him. Unless the Aggies have a big turnaround, it may be a one year gig anyway as I get a sense that patience with Jimbo has worn off.

He was head coach at Missouri state and went into Fayetteville last year and almost beat Arkansas. He's still dangerous

Actually, my worst fear would be the Aggies starting out bad and then firing Jimbo and letting Petrino coach out the year. I agree, coaching is the limitation for that team.

Never really appreciated the difference coaching makes until I saw the differences between our 20 and 21 teams. Hell, our 20 team won 3 games, Heup came in and took the same team minus some of the more talented players and went to a bowl and shocked some people in 21.
