Wade vs Hubbs

Out of every Vol that played in the NBA I serious believe Hubbs will be in the top 3 all time with King and Houston (I know this is really premature since he hasn't even played a college game yet.) But... He has a NBA frame - the weight, which coach Nic C will for sure put on. I have a lot of faith and hope in Hubbs. Get ready to see a very special player.

Seems like a fair comparison. Dare I say that Hubbs may be a better jumpshooter?

From the highlights an comparing both at the same points of their career...Hubbs jump shot does look better. Both just look so smooth. I really can't wait to see him play here!

I like this prospect for UT, but he reminds me of Reggie Bullock for UNC. Bullock was the same caliber of player, 5* top 10 type and got to the rim at will in HS. His has handle didn't translate to this level and is a work in progress. Temper the Wade talk.

Watched Duke/U of L. Coach K is unbelievable. To think that we pulled Hubbs away from him is amazing. I see why players want to play for him.

*Bump* I'm bored and I'm ready for basketball season and I'm watching old highlights. Hubbs game still reminds me of Wade in high school...lets hope he can average half of what Wade averaged his freshman year. 18 pts, 6 rebounds, 3 ast, 2 steals and 1 block lol.

This is a setup. First game he has a bad one. This will get bumped. Be prepared. Lol

I agree but the only problem is, a player of that caliber will not stick around long enough to be considered amoung the greats. Tobias Harris could have easily been the most productive player in tennessee's history. I really believe that

hubbs had talent and is comparable at this point. Wade became a warrior later in his college career. Right now gibbs doesn't have the same mental toughness.

You people are insane. Gibbs is the freshman QB. Dobbs is the kid from Dyer Co coming in to play hoops. And Hubbs is into auto racing.

Did you see BK? We have never had and will never had anyone of his caliber again. Bernard went for 40 his first game and never looked back.

And Tobias was putting up 20/10 on the reg in the NBA in what would have been his JR year.

Tobias may turn out to be a fabulous player in the NBA. He appears to have turned the corner and found a niche in Orlando. Bernard King is a HOF player. Right now, any comparison between the two is silly, IMO, seeing as how 6 months ago Harris wasn't breaking a sweat on the bench in Milwaukee. 10 years from now, we could be having a real discussion though. TH has some real special ability, and perhaps he has found the right situation to maximize it.

I don't know if Hubbs will turn out to be as good as Wade but I think he has as much athletic ability and is a better shooter.

If Hubbs is anywhere close to the talent of Wade, he's a one and done. Of course Wade wasn't but I feel like Wade was held back a bit in college.
