Only if they illegally cross into the US.
I don't oppose legal immigration. As a matter of a fact I encourage it. I could use some hard working folks right now. We need to disallow people who cross illegally and they should be immediately deported with no hearing. At the same time we need to make it easier for folks to legally enter, work, and stay in the US. As a condition they should be required to attempt to learn basic English. I haven't pursued Hispanic labor primarily because it is essential to be able to communicate doing what I do. I don't speak a lick of Spanish.IDK about you, but I'd rather give them a job and allow them to contribute to our economy than just send them welfare that doesn't benefit us. It's ironic that people oppose immigration because of welfare implications, so they're willing to give them welfare to stay away? Makes no sense.
I honestly don't know what else can be done. They are already starving. Those in charge are criminals that do not care if the people get fed or not. They need to be ousted but then who replaces them? Someone worse? We probably should just stay out of it.Nothing says we care about you like trying to starve the people
This is getting old. How many countries do we have sanctions on now? What is the purpose of these sanctions anymore? Are they really effective or just more political grandstanding by Washington? Do you see now why countries are trying to break away from the US and the dollar?

President Trump's Venezuela Envoy, Elliott Abrams, has an offer for Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro; leave power voluntarily and the United States will grant amnesty. While Abrams says he sees no indication that Maduro will step down, his offer was designed to send a message according to the New York Times.
