Yep - I got more laughs out of it than Talladega Nights.

I particularly enjoyed the Beatles scene.

Just saw it yesterday, too. Pretty funny if you're knowledgable about rock history. But I could see how some people wouldn't like it.

I haven't heard many people talk about this movie, but I thought it was hilarious. I liked the scene in the concert hall after he just tried some coke and he gets all punk with his music and everyone is just staring at him, like what the hell?

Count me as one who liked the movie. The running gag with the drugs made me laugh every time. I really appreciate John C. Reilly.

The fact that I turned off Talladega Nights about 30 minutes in prevents me from wanting to see this movie.

I watched this for the first time last weekend... enjoyed it. That one song made me laugh quite a bit.

It's been a little up and down in my opinion.

Since Old School:
Elf - funny, a Christmas staple
Anchorman - eh, not so funny
Melinda and Melinda - not the worst movie ever
Kicking and Screaming - good
Bewitched - fell asleep, haven't bothered to try and see it again
Winter Passing - terrible
Talladega Nights - turned off after 30 minutes
Stranger Than Fiction - very good
Blades of Glory - sucked
Semi-Pro - haven't seen yet

I liked Blades Of Glory simply because of the fact that somebody had the balls to make a 90 minute gay joke.

I haven't seen it, but I did watch the scene with Tim Meadows marijuana warning on YouTube, which was completely hilarious. Gotta see it.

Nick Swardson was about the only good thing about that movie.

It's a running joke - same thing every time - "Dewey you don't want none of this" cocaine, pills, acid -- I won't tell you the last one.

I haven't seen Melinda and Melinda, Bewitched, or Winter Passing. But Elf was alright, I hated Anchorman, I don't remember much of Kicking and Screaming, I don't like much of Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory was funny only because I'm sure I was getting a contact high at the same time, and Semi-Pro is terrible.

My problem with Will Ferrel is his childlike humor style. It's dumb and played out.
