WALT ....

Here you go again GaVol, as I said earlier ,do all opinions have to be cleared thru you to be true, questioned or correct? What must one do to have his job questioned in your estimation? Would reduction in rushing totals for FIVE consecutive years be worth inquiry? Would an inability to decifer opponents defenses, in spite our superior talent, make you question it's source? How about NEVER sending out five recievers to loosen up a loaded defensive front? Since you know all, surely I may gain some understanding from your all knowing presence. Maybe I can appear on the ESPN commercials with Fowler, Corso, Herbstreit and yourself only to be granted the honor of asking you one question :worship:

By the way "who made you pope of this website?"

Afte3r last weekend, I've been wondering about Walt's job status too . . . but I haven't dared to comment on it for fear of being accused of being the Pope again. :D

:D I think I liked this thread better when Donsargegolf was trying to rip me a new one . . .

Somehow I've never associated Ric Flair with the Pope.

Walt has easily saved his job. All he has to do is vote for the panthers to be 25 and they get the bid. Pasqualoni doesn't have a vote.

GaVol, you definitely need to get Freak to change your name to "Surrogate Pope to the VolNation" or something like that... or just change it to Ric Flair... MAN I hate that guy. I wish I could have kept my mouth shut after convincing you to give him the boot! Let's go back to the Islands!!!

WOOOO! :) :D

The alumni are squirming in Pittsburgh because they want Walt gone so bad they cannot stand it. They are working every concievable angle to get his job. WH is not safe yet.

The Solich thing is going to haunt them... if/when Pitt wins the Big Least, how could they POSSIBLY justify firing the guy?

My response would be... It's the Big Least... Whoopdy-freakin'-doo

That conference proves just how bad it is more and more every Saturday.

anyone remember me saying Walt was gone at Pitt? He wanted to stay in the 'Burgh an they told him to hit the door. Wish he would have come to K-town to run our offense. Oh well.

If they still wanted to run him after a BCS berth - you'd have to think either Walt Harris is some kind of a-hole that nobody likes or the Pitt alumni is in the same delusional fantasy land as Notre Dame and Ole Miss.

Delusional, fantasy land yes. Not to mention the students and broads he has been "banging" when not coaching. All this out in the open as well. :nono:

Ahhhh . . . a case of Terry Bowden/Larry Eustacy disease. It all makes sense now.

I believe Walt just got the best job for him. Back home in northern California and HC of a FB program at a great school. I do think he was the member of my favorite Vol coaching staff. Some good ones with him at UT at the time. Good luck at Stanford Walt!

Did Majors publicly go to bat for Walt in P'Burgh? To tell you the truth, I wouldn't be a HC at a major or semi-major program for nothing. Walt had a super year last year and while this year wasn't so grand, by luck he ends up in a BCS bowl and you're telling me the natives want to run him off? Sounds familiar though.

I wonder how the Cardinal will do with him. Hopefully pretty well, Stanford is the everything-sport school. They do it all.

majors is more figure head up hear than anything. It's hard to defend some of walts comments about this being a"pro town" and certainly his extra curricular activities with the girlies.
