Walter Nolan injury update?

Honestly, I thought he was faking or at the most, had the wind knocked out of him. I didn't see anything happening to his leg that led me to believe it was injured. No idea what his injury is, but he was really upset.

Danielson pronounced his season over, before he'd barely left the field. Surprised me. He must have seen something that wasn't shown. Hope he's o.k..
I heard that too and told my wife what the hell....They didn't splint anything...he just popped on the cart and Danielson said his season is over.

Nobody wishes for any kid to be injured but… You can’t deny it is a little poetic justice that he is injured trying so hard to make him play because he is in front of his old hometown crowd and the coach that essentially took his family in (RG).
Also poetic justice that it was our defensive line wreaking more havoc with less bodies than all those five star kids at Texas A&M.
People need to stop with the lecturing. There’s a long list of kids that were in-state players we sold out to get who chose to go elsewhere. Those kids will never be welcomed back home with open arms. It’s called being a fan-attic. But none of us “hope” a kid sustains any significant injury.

I could be wrong, but i thought I may have seen him vomit right before getting on the cart. He kept bobbing his head.

There is no poetic justice about any of it. We recruit kids from all over the country. So do other programs. We were emerging from a train wreck during his recruitment. I can’t imagine steering my kid here until the freakshow stabilized. It’s a game. I hope he gets well soon. We would’ve won with him still on the field. I wish the kid nothing but success here, and in the NFL. Jimbo is a hot air machine, and a bad game coach. He’s an incredible recruiter.

Ironic is probably more like what you mean, as opposed to poetic justice. Maybe?

Yea and our fans booing is distasteful. We're not even running tempo and our fans still boo.

I am hoping he is ok. Also hoping he realizes A&M isn't the place for him at this point. Jimbo just is never going to get it done there.

The fans booed initially thinking he was faking. He received a standing ovation numerous times when he tried to get up, then put onto the cart and while leaving the field. Plus, the student section chanted his name so I thought volnation showed a ton of class. Even the aTm fans commented and appreciated the response.

I think his weeping is telling. Kids don’t cry like that unless it’s serious. They also don’t bring out the cart. Sometimes it takes a very slight movement to blow an ACL. I’ve torn two. The popping sound of the bones clacking together is all you need to hear in these instances to know what has happened and the pain can range depending on multiple variables. A lot of people think that the tear is the bulk of the pain and the cause for the sound but it’s the bruised bone from the collision of the bones caused by the overstressed ligament snapping that causes the sound and the bruise to the bone that takes a lot of time to heal. Anyways, he knew and it’s saddening. Probably impacts his NIL, the quality of life for his family and more while he is in rehab. I don’t think it looked serious enough to be career ending if he puts as much work ethic into his rehab.

Can we please stop booing injuries in the stadium? Makes the whole fanbase look terrible, especially in cases where the injury turns out to be pretty serious. Bad look for the program with recruits who may be considering other schools.

Looked to me like his ankle was a little out of alignment. Nothing like Bru but serious enough he couldn’t put any weight on it. Nothing on the Aggie news yet.
