Walter Nolan injury update?

They aren't booing injuries. They're assuming players are faking injuries. The boy who cried wolf comes to mind. Can't blame the fans on this one. Once it was clear he was really hurt, they responded respectfully.
Agree with that. Anyone who watched him play HS knew he had a tendency to catching a breather on the field regularly. Once he went back down the tune changed. We all wish the young man well.

I hate our fans booing teams entering the stadium. Totally classless. Projects hate. I know other schools do it, but I am not a fan of other schools.
I'm ok with the booing of the other team entering the stadium. It kind of sets the tone for a hostile environment and is nothing more than banter imo. OTOH, booing kids getting hurt is not acceptable. I understand when teams flop every play when were running tempo, but that hasn't been the case this season.

Can we please stop booing injuries in the stadium? Makes the whole fanbase look terrible, especially in cases where the injury turns out to be pretty serious. Bad look for the program with recruits who may be considering other schools.
Stop the fainting goats and all the booing will miraculously disappear.

I am hoping he is ok. Also hoping he realizes A&M isn't the place for him at this point. Jimbo just is never going to get it done there.

If Nolen decides to go to the portal, does Tennessee go after him?

It seemed like he did not want to be coached by Garner and that was a main reason that he went to Texas A&M during his recruitment.

Meh booing opposing teams when they run out of the tunnel is just part of the deal. Every SEC home crowd does this. It's expected and I seriously doubt anybody's feelings are getting hurt. To me that's just one of those "all in good fun" situations where you don't take it personally.

As for fans booing Nolan getting hurt, I agree that it shouldn't have happened. I understand that a precedent was set when Ole Miss faked a bunch of injuries on us back in 2021. However that doesn't excuse the booing. Hell, WE do this on every extra point we kick after a quick score to give the defense some extra rest! Lampley or Davis goes down every single time we quick score. So it's hypocritical for us to boo when other teams do it. Plus it could be a real injury so I think we should give the benefit of the doubt on that.

Saw an article posted a few hours ago that it may not be as serious as originally thought. They didn’t provide any details.
It was an odd injury. Nothing looked serious during the play and he was about to walk off with help from the trainers but they couldn’t support his weight so elected to bring the cart out.

Was it brutal-looking, other than the golf cart and the tears? Sure, he was hurting, but, nothing was was televized that indicated a season-ending injury. Or, am I wromg?

When it happened, I didn't see anything that led me to think he was injured. At the time, I thought he was doing the fainting goat dance or just had the breath knocked out of him.

I thought he might have hurt his arm or shoulder the way he jumped and missed and tried to catch himself on the ground, then he started grabbing his leg, and the cart came out, and I figured I missed some freak accident
