I wasn't commenting on Walz's abilities, just responding to Vol Girl's statement: "3. The chance to bring Tennessee back to prominence and beat UConn," which, even if he does come to UT, seems a bit premature, given his record against them.

But, since you brought it up: he took over a team that was 27-8 and he made it to the finals in year 2. Wasn't much building to be done.

And again: didn't say a word about whether he's good or not, nor whether he would be a good hire, nor whether he could do better at UT than at Louisville. I was just responding VolBall09's statement that his record happened primarily "while he was building his program." My response was to show that not much "building" was required.
