Considering their stadium only holds about 25k, I'm guessing the number of USU fans at Neyland will be akin to MTSU or Vandy coming to town. A blip of blue in the lower section of A.

I'm honestly not worried about this game much. There is always a chance we could lose, but I just don't see it happening. This isn't a homer prediction either. A year ago USU was a 9-5 mid major team. It's not like they went 11-1.

Yeah... you're right. When USU's posters in a thread by a much better than 10 to 1 margin believe that their mid-major team having lost 2/3's of its starters will roll into Neyland and beat UT... that's "reasonable". When fans here basically avg saying that UT will win 6 or 7 games to include USU... that's "unreasonable".

All new O and D lines. Many new talented but inexperienced players. 4-straight losing seasons (Though we were playing well against UGA and SC before Worley went out). I don't know. I'm very excited for this year and I hope it's a butt kicking on our part but I'll refrain from being overly confident until I see how our issues are resolved or not.

Allot of their facts are 2013, since both teams a good amount of players to the NFL and graduation reloading is the word of the day. Who excels with the reload will be the winning come Aug 30

That board doesn't look much like VN.

They grade their spring practice in all roses. They have an awesome (unproven DL), so when the OL dominates it in practice, they say their unproven O-line is awesome. When their unproven O-line gets manhandled in practice, they say it's proof that their unproven D-line is awesome.

When their QB, who is back from season-ending ACL surgery, runs in for a TD in practice, wearing non-contact jersey, they claim it's proof that he's back better than ever. When he struggles throwing the ball, they say it's because their unproven DL and pitiful secondary are dominating.

When their coach lists the obvious problems with the team, then says he's not worried, that whole forum cheers.

In contrast, on VN...

We've already written our OL and DL off. We've already written all three QBs off. When our coach says he's not settling for imperfection and pushes our players for excellence, we wail and gnash our teeth.
