Yep. UT won't have the stones to pull the trigger tho. They'll find some retread or a name we have to google. The misery will continue and we'll be right back here in 3-4 years looking for yet another damned coach. Just once I'd like UT to show a backbone and go for someone who we know can get it done in this league. This BS about hiring a coach who will bring NCAA scrutiny just churns my stomach. Mullen has a show cause. Look at Wade at LSU. Who gives a damn about the NCAA? We hire who the hell we want to hire.

To be honest, I wish they would just come out and back Pruitt. It’s apparent that if they fire the guy, the timing is going to be terrible, so what could it hurt to publicly back him at this point. It’s like the powers that be are just sitting back in a little office, saying, you go say something. No you go do it. I’m not gonna do it, you do it...

Where the He!! Is the big money? Are they to the point of not caring or is the divide amongst the boosters that bad, that one half would just sit back and watch it burn, just to prove a point?
We have officially become the most irrelevant program in the SEC. if you try to argue otherwise, you’re a fool!
We are the biggest joke in the conference by far.
Hell, even Vandy is taking baby steps to be respected again, we just want to talk about 1998 and puff our chest out.

I would personally like to think that the powers that be are remaining silent on the advice of VERY EXPENSIVE counsel , who have been told that they may have the possibility of walking away from a 12 million dollar mistake.

I’ll say this, I’ve never really been a full blown Kiffin or Freeze guy, but at this point, if this turns out like we all think it’s going to and this university keeps dragging its feet, and both of those coaches are legit interested in coaching the university of Tennessee football team, then fire Pruitt NOW and hire one of them, and I don’t care which, immediately! Because no one else will touch this job!

Yeah, that’s great, in a perfect unicorn and roses world. But what could it hurt to publicly back Pruitt? We’ve seen it happen 1,000 times. The AD backs the coach, fires him the next week. At some point you’ve got to stop the bleeding!

Certainly not the gump, he needs to go. Freeze will not be hired here because of baggage. Kiffin will not be hired here because he left us high and dry. All the other candidates mentioned here frequently are possible candidates depending if they want to come to this aftermath of a nuclear blast.

Again. We’re talking about a situation that could come down to an arbitrator or jury letting the UT AD walk away from 12 LARGE. If the very expensive counsel tells you to make no public comment, you make no public comment. Or I could be completely dreaming and they’re all just locked in a room and and arguing and we’re doomed.
