War in Ukraine

Because they’re afraid a mentally and physically ill Putin will start throwing nukes around.

That’s literally the only reason Russia hasn’t been swept back out of Ukrainian, Georgian, and Moldovan territory.
The people living in the 3 territories you named are wanting to join Russia. Aren't those people allowed to have self-determination? Or does that only apply to people that The West agrees with?

Nope. But in the overall scheme of things, what significance was that in the overall war?

Then why are NATO countries like Germany having cold feet every since this thing started and for that matter, why hasn't the US Pentagon shown any ambition to put boots on the ground?
It’s symbolic that a rag tag group that supposed wiped out in 3 days sunk the flagship.

The only reason that NATO countries haven’t absolutely trounced the Russian Army is because they have more nukes than anyone in the world . Putin acting crazy and incredibly paranoid makes him very unpredictable.

Yep, the Ukrainians are fighting like hell to join but those damn Russians just won't let them.

Maybe dont shoot your fleeing citizens would be a good place to start. It may be too much to expect the ba$tards not to take up military positions in residential areas.
fires and explosions within Russia tell me there is an ample pool of people who despise Putin's decisions within Russian borders, let alone Ukraine.

.
I’m at work. I don’t have enough time to list the piss poor management of the Russian Army during their invasion. So off the top of my head
How about the massive loss of life for starters? The loss of their own soldiers, the massive amount paratrooper losses they encountered, they’ve had multiple IL-76’s shot down during ops. The amount of armor they’ve lost. Their naval losses..The amount of Generals theyve lost.. it’s a laundry list of incompetence

Massive loss of life?

So the Moskva Warship being sunk was propaganda? Even though the world has seen the pictures? Come on, Russia has proven to be inept in every aspect of battle . Nobody is afraid of fighting them in a conventional war.

I dont know if the US could've taken Mariupol much more efficiently than Russia did, under the same conditions. Have they made some blunders, sure, but this "inept" narrative that western propaganda has been pushing is ridiculous.

Because the war is being fought on Ukrainian territory by a thug country indiscriminately lobbing tons of munitions around - a lot of it from safe territory. Note that Ukraine hasn't been lobbing stuff across their border into Russia - maybe they should.
They (The Ukrainians) have chosen to lob stuff at civilians in Donetsk instead.

Right. So because if that we should be sending them aid right?

Of course. If we don't respect and support people fighting for their freedom who will? Good thing your attitude didn't prevail when we fought for independence. Colonialism and outright annexation are good things?

Somebody is courting trouble. The Army is flying two Beech RC-12X Guardrails (YANK01 and 02) and one Beech C-12U-3 Huron (REBEL80) over Lithuania. Sounds like somebody didn't get or pay attention to the sensitivity training.

We are not the police of the world. This is 2022. This isn’t us fighting for our independence. This is Ukraines problem. Not ours. I am sick of seeing us send money and resources to a corrupt government for the sole purpose of red man bad. Let Ukraine deal with Russia. We need to keep our money and resources here where they belong.

Lol. The U.S. armed forces are miles better than Russian forces. Much better equipped with better logistics. In a conventional war America would mop the floor with Russian dead bodies.

HIMARS systems update:

The first Ukrainian MLRS team is scheduled to complete training on Wednesday, and it will be deployed next week, according to officials briefed by the Pentagon. Another Ukrainian team will start training as soon as the first one finishes.

Also of note:

Ukraine Situation Report: More HIMARS On The Way Once Ukraine Shows It Can Use Them In Combat

Ukrainian troops are two weeks into a three-week HIMARS training course before the guided rocket launchers go to the frontlines.

That's one of the main reasons why we are going broke, genius... by inserting ourselves in these conflicts that are none of our business. We spent blood and treasure trying to help the South Vietnamese, did the same in Afghanistan and Iraq and now are going to likely be pushing close to $100 billion by the end of this year at the current rate in Ukraine.

Who is going to stop them in Poland? Duda has just admitted that they are depleted of a substantial amount of weapons thanks to the Ukraine crisis. They are even begging their NATO partners for used equipment.

Poland wants new weapons after arming Ukraine
I forgot that the Russians have done such a bang up job in Ukraine that they are this massive juggernaut. And I’m sure that the Ukrainians after being invaded by then would love to fight alongside them. After all this is like Hearts of Iron IV where you conquer a country and automatically gain that country‘s manpower.

There’s this thing called NATO which would get involved, which if it had been involved directly in the Ukraine, the Russian army in Ukraine would have been obliterated in a month if even that. That’s why Putin was acting like a chump byotch threatening nuclear war.

It’s all moot anyway, you guys haven’t even conquered Ukraine.

PS the Poles have always been tough bastards

Uh oh. They are going to start calling you a Pootin stooge for even suggesting that we keep our money here at home and spend it to actually try and solve the problems our country is currently dealing with.

I don't get what you mean? Fighting for your own independence isn't the same as inserting ourselves inall sorts of regional conflicts halfway around the world. You do realize there is a difference in the two, correct?
