And you're a big F-ing liar.

Or… he’s going to jail. He isn’t very bright after all 🤷‍♂️

And yeah I did some light reading on their tax code too today. No way 3.3% keeps you legal in any scenario. And they need money for those heated park benches and social services.

Good reason to change countries frequently.

From reading the code that just means you owe taxes on your Korean earnings. From reading a couple of web pages it reads like if you’re a resident you own taxes on ALL earnings even those outside of Korea.

Regardless all federal brackets are over 3% for personal income tax there the way it reads.

Lol. Proctor I've told you and others multiple times that I'm not cheering for anyone. It's you guys and gals who get all giddy over people dying or just the thought of people dying.

Plus this conflict isn't over yet. It's like a chess match. And Russia still hasn't gone into the dark ages economically or have been isolated like you all wished for. They are still making energy deals and other trade deals with other nations.

You're looking at the war from a different perspective than most on here. One thing I keep seeing not just on here, but also by US government officials is "we're killing Russians without having to sacrifice any lives," that the lives of the Ukrainians who have died and will continue to die for the foreseeable future are worthless. If you don't think the deaths of the Ukrainians, who have already lost more people than we did in the entire Vietnam War, are worth it than you're automatically "on Putin's payroll."

Link to any US government official saying that Brucey?

He posted the link to the published personal income tax brackets in SK. If you’ve got a link that corrects it then by all means post it.

Edit: and then there’s this link too. The bracket information agrees with the prior link. Or did you chose to pay the flat 19% foreigner tax rate?

Expat Taxes in South Korea: A Complete Guide for Americans Abroad.

If you meet the requirements for resident of South Korea then this tax table applies. Your 3.3% only addresses withholding but does not define your total liability if you are a resident which appears to be devinsc as domiciled 183 or more days in South Korea per tax year.

19% is for employees. I'm an independent contractor. I'm glad I've been hiring local accountants to file my taxes instead of you, Velo, and Monty. What's really going to make you angry is that the national tax office direct deposits around 500,000 won into my bank account as a tax refund each June if I paid taxes in Korea the previous year, even after they see that I paid 3% in federal taxes. The city where I live direct deposits 50,000. And the best part about it? You subsidized it!

Regardless of what he/she actually pays, the point is that the only South Koreans paying the tax rate he/she said are those making less than $10,000.

I asked a Korean and she said she also pays 3.3%. When I asked her about the 10% VAT, she said she didn't know what I was talking about. I explained that it means a value-added tax. She said she knows what a VAT is, but that there isn't any sort of 10% VAT on anything. I told her some Americans on the internet were saying we're going to jail for not paying it. She laughed and told me to stop talking with Americans on the internet and just listen to Koreans, because you guys binge watch K-dramas that are fictional and don't reflect reality.

Americans are sending so much money over here that even Donald Trump constantly complains about it. And Americans just put in an order for 100,000 artillery rounds to import from South Korea in order to subsidize the Ukrainian armed forces. Americans just love to subsidize South Korea, Ukraine, and many other countries with nothing to gain in return. Don't player hate. I'm just here to collect American welfare instead of paying for it. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Lol sure thing Brucey. There have been about four separate links showing your full of 💩 on your claims but you got the inside track and know how to beat the tax man.

Even in your own link it pointed out 3.3% was the withholding for a contractor not the individual tax liability. But sure… you stick with that 3.3% 🤡

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Still waiting on that link to US government officials comments on sacrificing any lives.

So the exchange rate is 0.00076 USD = 1 Won

So the “game” is you’re livin’ large on $380 a year while committing tax fraud in Korea, playa’?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Nobody said the Russians were competent trash. They are pretty good at hitting apartment buildings (including their own) - maybe not so good with dams.
In Septic’s article it seemed to indicate they might have finally over achieved at something. The roadway over the dam was the last remaining bridge and in their zeal to eliminate the roadway they also caused damage to the sluice gates as a minimum with structural damage to the dam itself unknown without a direct inspection

If that dam gives way and floods the region downstream I’m guessing that is it for Russia and the rest of the world will come down on them directly. The loss of live would be huge.

I just read an article in "The Drive" and it referenced earlier Ukrainian comments that the Russians may have planted explosives. If so, the Russians have even less credibility if they try the "we only destroyed the roadway to protect our advance to the rear." If they had time to plant demolitions, they had time to calculate how to take out the roadway without damaging the dam itself. Russian are just backwards thugs without a care.

Actually, it's $418. And that's just the cherry on top, courtesy of American taxpayers, when 40% of Americans in the USA don't even have that much in your bank accounts after saving throughout your entire lives. 40% of Americans don’t have $400 in the bank for emergency expenses: Federal Reserve - ABC News (go.com) The enthusiasm of Americans to subsidize people in foreign countries, while the Americans you pretend to love do without, is one of the reasons so many American combat veterans went to bed on cold hard benches outside on a cold November Veteran's Day night while Zelensky and I retired to our soft warm beds indoors.

On the topic of American subsidies and fraud, what's really funny is how the FTX bankruptcy made the news right after voting ended in the mid-term elections, as if that's any coincidence. The #2 donor to Democrat politicians, second only to George Soros himself, is the boss of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried. The Democrats voted to send billions to Ukraine, and the Ukrainian bureaucrats invested it into FTX instead of investing it in the Ukrainian armed forces. Bankman donated the money to Democrat politicians along with shifting $10 billion to his private company, and now the money is all gone and FTX is bankrupt. It's pretty funny to watch the reactions of people in the USA, like the guy in the video below.
