I kinda hope those Russian idiots send tens of thousands of troops against a well armed defense with heavy urban fortifications. The Ukrainians are gonna start stacking bodies if the Russians do it. This could be the move that breaks the defense but it will come at a very high cost.

The footage emerged as the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence said Russian mothers could could come to Kyiv and collect their sons who had been taken prisoner.

In a verified post on social media, officials claimed mothers could make the arduous journey to the Ukrainian capital from Russia if they had found that their child was in captivity.

The ministry provide an email address and phone numbers that could be used to find out if a soldier was 'in captivity or had died'.

An official wrote: 'We Ukrainians, unlike Putin's fascists, do not fight mothers and their captive children. We are waiting for you in Kyiv!'

I once heard that Russians have a saying that “quantity has a quality all its own”. This was true of the number of Migs and SUs they would produce (Cold War era) and has again showed itself in this conflict. Seems they tend to go heavy on blunt force and big numbers and just wing the whole supply chain, logistics and tactics. This could be their undoing in a conflict with the Ukrainians that aren’t playing around. They’re willing and capable to take advantage of those shortcomings.

Where the US employs tactics and munitions to generally limit civil casualties, Putin may go Total Warfare and just obliterate. If this multi- city bombing campaign hits high gear, the Ukrainians are done in organized warfare. The Russians probably have a million aerial munitions
