Barnes water bottle toss was nothing compared to Oates busting his play board at Mizzou last night. That guys must drink 5 Red Bulls before a game. He is amped and wired a 220 for sure.

Except for the water bottle toss at Auburn. That was different.

His pacifism is probably what kept him from getting T'd up for the bottle slam, honestly. That game was very evenly officiated until the final 4 minutes. Getting a T there wouldn't have helped.

It was immediately following the "travel" on Okpara instead of what it really was which was an obvious foul on Broome. The water bottle slam seemed definitely aimed at the officials.

If UT loses at A@M Saturday, the number 1 seed is off the table IMO. Let’s see what we bring Saturday on the road in a top 10 match up. Go Vols! If we are who we think we are (a potential #1 seed) then we gotta prove it Saturday at noon on the road with the building packed and amped up to a fever pitch. Tag your it Vols! Prove you deserve a #1seed.

You’re probably right but will see what other teams do. Auburn and Duke are probably locks for 1 seeds. This leaves Houston FL Bama and TN fighting for the last two spots currently. Bama has the toughest schedule by far.

He wasn’t protesting. He was pissed that his team carelessly threw an inbounds pass almost directly to a Mizzou player and Sears immediately committed an intentional foul. The aftermath of slamming the clipboard with pieces flying onto the court is what got him T’d up. He was even chuckling about it with the referee 30 seconds later.
