Was Kevin Nash any good?

Kevin had longer hair than devoe liked. I don't think that wiki thing is right. He argued with devoe. Got suspended and finally booted. But I don't recall him hitting the coach or anything.

Wrestling was perfect for him.

I will find a photo

Nash and Howard Wood competed for starting role. At first Wood was the best 6th man but eventually Howard became a starter and was good player for Vols

Some great players in that pic. Bert Bertlekamp, Johnny Darden, Howard wood,Reggie Johnson to
Name a few

Gary Carter - one of the most underrated Vols of all time - and Steve "Ray in the Way" in there, too. DeVoe walked into a very good situation in terms of talent.

Kevin Nash was a basketball player in the same way that these two legendary guys were hockey players.

I never missed a home game when Nash was here. At first me and my friends would laugh every time Nash hit a shot or got a rebound like it was a miracle or something but the more he played the better he got. He actually turned into a pretty decent BK player but only played here a couple years before body slamming DeVoe. I think he may have played professionally overseas somewhere. Not sure where or how long though.

You guys really need to read that article I linked. He's not a millionaire and he's actually a borderline genius. He still wrestles occasionally and if I remember it correctly he did play overseas and at Bowling Green. His version of the DeVoe thing is obviously quite different.

Great read. I'm not a big fan of wrestling, but man I love reading the history of it. The backstage stuff of it is ****ing awesome.

The Montreal Screwjob? I've read and watched stuff on that for hours and hours.

You should read this one about Ric Flair then. It's long, but dear lord is it depressing.

Grantland has all the creators on it behind the 30 for 30 series. They are, IMO, better at the journalism side of sports than ESPN outside of reporting game stats and stuff like that.

I read it. I read Grantland all the time. The first time reading it was hard enough.

I've found most people either have no clue about grantland or love it. I always make sure to assume the former just in case.

But man, that article killed my soul. If that had been Stone Cold or the Rock (I loved both growing up in the 90's) then I'm not sure I could ever even occasionally watch fake wrestling again.

He went to TTU after he got kicked off the team at UT. My really good friends father played with him there. If i remember correctly he got kicked off the team there as well.

This dude breaks out a rare picture of an early '80s bball team, and you complain about the size of it? Tough room, lol.:)

also, could you compile his career highlights and stream it on youtube in 1080p? 1080i is okay i guess. but please hurry, my popcorn is getting cold.

77 to 43. damn working late, what'd i miss?
