I think Mac is a really good offensive coach who inherited a really good defense. All he had to do when hired was focus on one side of the ball, which happened to be his specialty. The other side was already elite.

I don't think Muschamp was head coach material. Maybe I'm wrong, but he regressed. Imagine what Mac could have done with some of the talent that chose to leave the program after last season.

He's very good DB coach and recruiter but he units got worse each yr after Quinn left.
