For the record... i think you're probably right.

But Washington beat Colorado worse than Michigan and has a better overall record. Not to mention they're conference champions.

Eye test.

Washington is small, slow, and unathletic.

Whoever they play in the playoff will embarrass them. Michigan would be stiffer competition.

Personally I think they are the wild card. If that team shows up of Bama and Chattanooga or the offense that we saw Bama have against LSU. Watch out. Washington can get some quirky plays down field.

I am not high on Washington. I think USC is the better team. Having said that, they have earned their spot in the playoffs. I really cannot understand how anyone could argue otherwise.

I honestly think teams like South Carolina and Kentucky could beat them. If Washington was in the SEC or ACC they would be a 5-6 loss team. Was not impressed with them at all last night. They had no athletes outside of John Ross. They looked weak along the lines of scrimmages. And overall just looked really small. Almost Group of 5 level small. Definitely did not look like a team that could survive the SEC grind.

I expect Alabama to annihilate them in the Peach Bowl.

Chris Peterson is one of the best minds in college football when it comes to offense give him the time to scheme against Bama he will have Washington ready....not a doubt in my mind

My only concern would be the Bama secondary, and that would be an area I think UW might exploit. I think Bama will slam the door on the Huskies ground game. If they can get pressure on Browning, this turns into another 4 quarter beat down. Especially on the rug in Atlanta, where Bama's speed will be on display.

Most of us were hoping he'd leave halfway into the Florida game when he trashed Dobbs and co, but two weeks later he claimed it was all a big social psychology experiment he created. Some people are just a legend in their own mind.

Bingo. They may be out talented. But scheme will not be too much for him.

Personally, I think they got it right. If PSU hadn't lost to Pitt then they would have a valid argument as to why they didn't get in.

That was a bad loss for them & I feel knocked them out. Washington's only loss was to USC which is a much better team than Pitt. It's that simple to me.
