Kiffin spent a ton in the portal and had a senior QB with 3 years in his system and still lost to UK @ home (UK’s only conference win) to keep his squad out.

Freeze went 5-7 in Y2. What did Heup do in Y2 here?

So Ole Miss has more money than we do? So we would beat Ole Miss on a neutral field? I will also take Freeze and Kiffin. Elite talent will win in the end.

Not sure but I’d guess they spent more in the portal than we did last season.

No need for hypotheticals, I know Ole Miss lost to 2 teams we beat. I also know they sat at home while Josh Heupel led his team to the playoffs. I think Kiffin is a good coach but give me Heup all day.

Hugh Freeze hasn’t had a winning record yet at AUB lol what a joke. If you’d take him over Heup then you’re just being a hater.

No it tells you ole miss is focused more on the portal and allocates their NIL more toward that. While Tennessee focuses NIL more on high school recruiting, and use portal to fill certain position.

I think you have no clue and it’s odd to get worked up over a player that is going to UK. He either doesn’t have confidence in himself to play for a contender or lacks common sense.

Auburn is also a trying to overhaul majority of their roster. Tennessee is not.
Tennessee doesn’t need to to take a lot of transfers. Not looking for depth guys or JAGs. Players that can make a serious impact as soon as they step on campus is the look.

Tennessee had to do that too but obviously did a better job than Auburn did in the first 2 years.

We spent money on keeping our best players. They didn’t pay guys like Judkins bc they wanted to spend their money in the portal. That’s how.

They took 26 guys from the portal and let 24 leave for the portal. They wanted to replace a lot of their roster and we did not want to replace a lot of our roster. Both strategies worked but ours worked better.

It doesn't appear we want to do that. We heard about the USC kids, and that is about it.

Besides the USC kids. What other wideouts have they really went after. Doesn’t seem like they went after Noah Thomas. Looks like they Amari Jefferson will happen. Tennessee has to be careful imo. You don’t wanna run off the kids you recruited and barely been there a year because took 3-5 from the portal. It’s a fine line staff has to walk.
