So he is a genius. Knew dobbs is the big secret ultimate weapon and was just saving him to unleash him later? No ones buying that.

You're going to be calling for Butch's head the year after Dobbs leaves because he didn't redshirt him. You'll troll then just as hard as you're trolling now.

think if this kid had better players around him he would be pretty good.

So you have the same credentials to determine he is?

Nope. And thats the point. Healthy constructive criticism is fine. I was critical of JJ in the beginning. However as the season has progressed, he has progressed. And after being an EE and having time to spend with collegiate level coaching, he could develop into a great QB. Saying crap like he is awful, is shortsighted and lame. Who are you comparing him to? Peyton? Give the guy a break, its his second season at playing QB.

Hasn't it been said that Dobbs was red shirting because his family wanted it so that he had 5 years to finish his degree and Butch tried to honor that as long as possible.

Also Butch has a pretty good history of spotting talent dating back to his CMU days eg. JJ Watt, Eric Fisher, Joe Staley, Antonio Brown

K. One good throw to an open receiver. He win the Heisman at UT now.

You lost the argument when you said he didn't have a good arm. That is the one thing he has always had. I don't know if he will ever play a meaningful snap in college at QB, but it doesn't change the fact he has a great arm.

Watched most of the game on Nashville channel 30. Is Jack Jones at RT because of Oakland's running game, or is that just his natural position? Great looking OL specimen! Oliver looks to be an outstanding BIG receiver! Juan Jennings has a strong arm & great wheels but had to scramble too much. Imagine him with a good offensive line?!:whistling:

Madbamahater hates Butch and staff. He will say anything to support his view no matter how ridiculous.

Right. I hate bUTch and staff. I hate bUTch so much that my profile picture is his name.

However, I have been critical of Bajakian, and rightfully so.

I believe in bUTch though. So much that I think he needs a minimum of 5 years. Not 2 or 3 as many of you think.

That being said, with all due respect for him, I don't think red shirting Dobbs was some genius strategy. If they could see Dobbs could do this, he would've been playing from day one......

I still think bUTch can upgrade his staff. You can ALWAYS improve.

Back to the thread. I don't believe Jennings is an SEC caliber QB. That's my opinion and story and I'm sticking to it.

If your opinion differs, so be it. But, you probably just based your opinion on the fact that he's committed and not on an actual senseable reason.

I think he's a great athlete, as I have stated in this thread. I think he will ultimately play another position in Knoxville. For some reason I'm being crucified for this opinion.

Some say natural position on Jones. I don't, I think he can play either side because of his mobility. Most HS teams are right side oriented in their run game and blind side protection is not as big of deal. Oliver will fit in well and Jennings is going to be a good one at QB. All need to RS to be at their best. But very happy they will be Vols - well done by Butch and staff.

MBH is getting more attention in this thread than the recruits. What were their final numbers?

That's because they crucify you for your "negavol" posts but fail to acknowledge the good posts I've had in this thread.

I've been labeled as hating Jennings just for thinking he won't play QB on the hill. It's sad but hilarious.

No, you're labeled as hating Jennings because of the lengths you will go to in order to discredit any part of his game that you can. You have taken a hard line stance for whatever reason, and no amount of evidence will sway you. Kid has a rocket launcher of an arm, and your major critique is that his arm isn't impressive. You automatically lose any credibility you might have had when you start out with such a glaringly weak argument.

I have NOT discredited all parts of his game as you stated. This is just a lie.
