Win tonight, then beating UGA would have actually meant something. Now, even if you beat UGA, we still get to watch another team play Bama in Atlanta.
We can still be spoilers
We can still stop their winning streak
We can still go undefeated at home

Maybe UGA will underestimate us like we did against Mizzou?

Odds aren't too good but it sure would be nice to pizz off ole Kirby!

So beating Georgia next week means nothing? Stop it.
1). Not happening so why bother worrying about it?

2). Even if it did happen, Still no NY6 bowl or conference championship game.

Our goal is (should be) to play in Atlanta, play in NY6 or make the playoffs. Even if we beat UGA, we are still 0-3 in our goals.

But, to be fair, It would be satisfying to mess up ugas perfect season, but that puts us in the same category as uscjr and that makes me sick.

Forgive me if that doesn't mean much to me. That is south carolina thinking.

We will come out a different team next Sat at home and possibly win. More of a reason to be pissed off. Life of a vol fan. Lol
heupel’s offense hasn’t generated many points against GA. We need to dominate the line of scrimmage to have a chance to win, I don’t see that happening. The consistent physicality on the line of scrimmage is not there.

Yeah, DL has been our strength, but OL is UGAs #1 unit, so it will be strength on strength.

I figured a split of mizzou and uga then beat vandy for 9 wins and a bowl win gives us 10. Never considered the win in that split to be uga. That's a tall ask for this team but crazier things have happened. That would be a really great season for this roster and it would certainly take some of the sting away from this disasterous loss. OTOH, we'd be in the same spot as last year. We'd be playing the coulda, woulda, shoulda game about the possible winning of the east and a shot at bama in the title game. Still, I don't think we'll be playing that game.

We ain't beating them with Any QB we have
I have asked this before. Maybe you know the answer. But when you look at UGA, they are so far ahead of us it’s just pitiful. So the question is, how do we get to their level when they recruit at Bama level every year? I just don’t see how we ever catch them.

I sure hope so. UGA is a heck of a mountain to climb. Even if the team is up it may not be enough.

Sorry....but this team with this QB is not beating UGA.
Nope. The playcalling has to be too simplistic to be effective against really good defense, UGA has Kirby Smart. The Neyland streak ends next weekend...

I just watched Nabors Bear Hug a FL CB while Daniels ran for 85 yard score.

If that were Tennessee, we would have had 5 holding calls on that play...for the same player!

The only answer I have for you is, until we can match them, we won't get to their level. Georgia and Bama will be top 3 in recruiting every year
