I watched the part in the 1st half where Dooley benched Bray, and Worley lead the team down the field for a FG in the first half. The announcers were impressed by his arm strength saying that he was just clocked throwing it at 51 MPH and that anything over 50 would be considered strong enough for the NFL. Clearly, Worley had better control of the offense and more confidence in the WR's on the 2012 team than at any point last season.

CP just did not belong with that team. I remember on our first possession Bray threw to CP in space and you just knew it was going for 6. He broke a Vandy DB's ankles CP-style and walked into the end zone. It was called back, but still. It was just amazing how he was in open space.

The defense that year, which was the sole reason we were 5-7, single handedly will make him a forgotten player because of how bad we were, when in reality he's one of the best players to ever step on the field for Tennessee and wear the orange.

Awful.

CP was a great talent. However, I am still mad he gave up on that interception.

7-5, with Mizzou & South Carolina being potential wins. Maybe.
Offense was not world beaters against good defensive teams and normally struggled to get going, while we fell behind because we couldn't stop people. Bray didn't really have a good game against any of our rivals that year. The defense was terrible, but the offense was average, at best.
There were decent stats offensively, but a quick recap will show that we were not much of a threat other than to Akron or Georgia St.

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with your whole premise regarding the offense. The offense was good enough to win us 8-10 games easily that year.
