Watches and Timepieces

I like this thread, i thought about making one similar after Christmas. I don't collect watches but my grandfather died in 1994 and in his will, he left me, his oldest grandson his Rolex. I turned 30 last year and my grandmother and parents decided it was time to give it to me. I got it for Christmas with the case it came in but no paperwork for it. I googled everything on it looking for information about it and i found people selling it (im not, just wondering the worth of it) from anywhere between $18,000 and $5,500 depending on the year and condition of it. Anyways, finally getting it was a big deal for me and im proud of it.

This watch is a thing of beauty. I've never seen a Rolex other than gold. Amazing piece.

Not exactly high dollar or anything but it was a gift from my dad and as a history buff I love it. Made like the Kansas City Railroad pocket watch. Inspired by the Jesse James train robbery in 1874.

I got a Tag Heuer for my 30th birthday and I baby that thing now. Still goes in its original case as soon as I get home. I only wear it for dressier occasions, such as work

This is my everyday watch. Swiss military. Very plain but that has been a blessing because flaws don't show up. Thinking of going to the leather band. Rubber bands aren't very comfortable.

That's a sweet watch. Can match absolutely anything. Just curious but do you have the battery replaced by a jeweler?

Thanks. I got the gray for that reason. I've had it replaced like three times and twice at a jeweler and the most recent at a watch repair shop

I got a Swiss army that I got for college graduation. It needs some new parts and it's like $75 so I haven't spent it, but I love Swiss army watches. Mine is silver with white face. I like the black band
