Wayne's a good post defender and moves his feet as well as anybody. His ability to defend the screen and roll and his outside shot will be something that some team could use. I see him signing as a free agent.

You guys gotta take off your homer glasses.. he'll have a bunch of workouts.. play summer league with an NBA team, maybe play on a D league team.. then he'll go to Europe.

You are comparing all Americans to Big Wayne? Might as well throw Lebron in there at 6'8-9".. Carmello is 6'8" too.

Everyone has a switch that turns on their intensity. Kobe has one, in the regular season he is an average defender...come playoff time he flips this switch and on D he is a freakin' ballhawk. Blair and Wallace play that way every minute they are on the floor. I think Wayne's switch is somewhere around his headband

Last time I checked you play the game with shoes on. Why their height without shoes is a big deal, I don’t know.

Just throwing out names there big guy. Lebron and Carmelo are irrelevant. BTW Lebron is 6'7" w/o shoes and Carmelo is about 6'6".

They're all different types of players. Wayne has something neither do, a shot outside of 5 feet. Both of the players mentioned are just physically built naturally big, Wayne isn't. Wayne's on ball defense was something that he was very underrated at. He's going to have to show some intensity, though. He started to show glimpses of it during the tourney.

No, Hopson is a like half an inch shorter than Wayne when they stand next to each other. I saw them at the UGA game this year (football, they were in attendance).

Did Wayne not get invited to the combine? There are a couple names on the participant list that I think Wayne should probably have gotten a nod over.

If Wayne could land with the right team, he could have a good NBA career. He moves his feet as well as any big man, can be a force defensively, and can shoot decent from 3 range for a big man.
