Wayne Chism signed in Turkey

When someone holds themself out as an expert on basketball and mocks me as an idiot for stating something factual I do remember it

Not sure if that is a grudge.

Then you follow him and others around the boards for nearly a year and bring them up in threads in which they had no part. I would say that is holding a grudge and you have done a pretty good job of making the mockery that you speak of seem completely justified.

I predict that it will continue.

This has already gotten weird, but your man-obsession with him has gone over the top. Really. Drop the act - its really freakin everyone out.

Just confess your undying love and how you sit in your room looking out the window singing "Somewhere Out There" and reciting poetry of how you will be together with him one day.

Weird

Wayne signed with Antalya, a team in the Turkish League.

He's played very well with Sacramento but they are pretty loaded with frontcourt guys. I think he's definitely played well enough to open up a few eyes and I'll think he'll get his shot eventually. Turkey's good money though.

I love Pearl to death but he's GOTTA get someone in the NBA or else other coaches are going to really use that against him.

I know this thread is about Chism, but I still dont understand how Lofton hasnt atleast got a chance on an NBA roster. The kid can flat out shoot the ball from anywhere on the court with hands all in his face. It's crazy some of the shots he hits.

offense is only 50% of the game.

oh, kentucky fans.....

Yeah, but its not just KY hoops. The post of Hats that I quoted is the reason I can't wait for hoops season.

The standard pre, middle, and post season predictions and rebuttals by MHF.....the obligatory verbal lashing that follows between the two sides..... followed by the traditional mudslinging and overall insulting of lawyers all over this board. Couple that in with random morons who only post during the season calling me a troll, and it makes for another wonderful hoops season.

Wayne turned down the Kings training camp invitation and will be leaving for Turkey next month.

More proof Jared Karnes is providing good advice. Going to the Kings camp would have been a wasteful pipe dream. Better to head to Europe, make 200K or so, and then try the Association again next year.

Prior to the NBA Summer League starting, an article in the paper on Chism said he had a six-figure offer on the table from a team overseas. Better than I thought you could get from overseas. I want in.

Seriously? You can make bank over there.. especially in the Greek leagues and such.

Its obviously because we are sympathetic. You could not endure UK fans and their infinite knowledge in their wheelhouse and most favorite sport, which is football................ :pardon:

Actually, this is a sore spot among many of my UK brethren. They call it blashpemy, but I like UT football. Again, I grew up on the state line and spend my time basically 60/40 between the two states. It just so happened my family is hoops dominant and didn't really care all that much about football. I'm football crazy, I love it.... but they aren't. Naturally I gravitated towards a winner when I started watching it. Don't get me wrong, I love UK football and thats were my heart lies, but its a weird dynamic.

its hard to gravitate toward a winning team that really isnt winning that much anymore.

Devan Downey will be on the same team as Wayne apparently. Tyler Smith signed with the same Turkish League team he played for a few months ago.
