Wayne Chism

That would explain his numbers then, right?

because he hasn't looked to score. For whatever reason. He should, but he hasn't. I still think he can put 15 up and be effective. He has to adjust though.

He reminds me of a poor man's Terrence Williams from Louisville last year, minus any apparent perimeter game.

he has now made himself easy to defend. He is heading to the bucket and most often he'll go right. The folks guarding him can just wait for the tilt-a-whirl to stop and block the shot. He was impossible to defend when he pulled up and drilled the 15 footer on people, a la Dale Ellis.

Do you think Dane Bradshaw worked with him on that shot fake? :)

Tyler hasn't shown improvement, but he's no worse. Teams just prepare for him now. He's the one they circle and gameplan to stop. He has trouble adjusting to that. If he goes pro, it'd be as a glorified garbage man.
As for Chism's size, he's a big dude. I've met a lot of NBA players, and they lie about their height by up to 2". Shaq is no 7', for sure. Chism's shown good D against Vandy's C, who is also a pro prospect.

I agree. Tyler is the same player as his sophomore year, for whatever reason.

I think Chism would struggle against the Chris Bosh, Dirk Nowitzski type player, but can guard the guys who are back to the basket in the pros

Really, I'm just hoping he goes pro so I can keep yelling 'Chism in yo face!' When is that going to catch on?
"Chism all over the court?"
