We’re 4-0…

I would say this to the OP without any malice.
Most people that take the time to post and read messages here are hardcore football fans. Not casual fans.
Some have played the game. Some have coached the game.
But almost all here watch a heckuva lot of football and know what quality play is and isn’t.
Therefore, we break down all elements of our favorite teams (and our opponents) performances.
Thats part of the fun of following college football.
So for someone to say that the Vols haven’t really played a quality team (especially a quality offense) yet is not a criticism of our team.
It’s just an observation.

There are 2 factors in everybody's reactions/expectations.

1. Basic personality
2. Age/experiences

Some are naturally more cautious than others in every aspect of life and in general people become more cautious with age.

In general the older like me (83) are more cautious in expectations because we've seen more "Archie Who?" and "we're gonna curb stomp the Gamecocks" games than have the younger.
What's better bc you're "cautious"?

But a lot of you are acting like we’re 2-2.

I sincerely hope the players don’t have the same loser mentality that our fanbase has.

This is the first time we can say this team can beat anybody on their schedule.

Just enjoy it.
Man you triggered the sensitive whinebags!!!
And right on cue all the "I'm smarter than you bc I'm cautious and a realist" buzzards dropped in immediately!!!

It would be hilarious if it wasn't so predictable and pathetic
