Rex, Look at the info that you yourself cite. UT has 11 commits. Most of the teams above them are full or close to it. More than 10 have lower star averages.

If UT signs 3-6 more 4* and round out the class with 3*'s then judging from the teams currently ahead of them they should have a top 25 class, right?

I think NEED is the word we should think about here we have a young team but with some NEEDS if we can fill these NEEDS we have it will be a good year and to judge this class by star power cannot discribe the worth of this class.

please tell me where we are set.....like UF who losesa DT and has one of the top 3 from this year's class or two of the top 4 from last year's class or loses tony joiner and gaines Will Hill, Dee Finley, and 3 other four stars......are we set like that NO not at all


If we lose a OL or two do we have that much depth....if Ben Martin goes down do we have studs waiting in the winds, if Bolden can't qualify can we still be fine at DT

The WR corps is ok at best, barring Police Ridealongs going ok

Just look at the activity this year as opposed to last year. this board was on fire, this year it's as freakin' dead as Rudy Guilani's presidential hopes. Last year we were in on 5 star guys, this year we're praying that some guys will pick us over Clemson, Baylor, Georgia Tech, etc. If it wasnt for Gerald Williams and his annual attempt to actually get into school, the only four star guy would be Douglas. Why do we have Douglas? Because he's been a lifelong Vol fan. So now we can only land high ranked guys that Fulmer was present at their birth? That's gonna help our recruiting travel budget, but may narrow down the players available to us a little bit.
