i did too eric...that sentence should never be used at tennessee again. this is just the staff still catching up on recruits i am not worried a bit. and just wait till we win 8 games. wow they will be coming in flocks.

People who don't understand recruiting and the relationships that you have to forge early in the process. That's the entire issue here. Kiffin did work miracles in the last month on the recruiting trail, but it's early and 98% of the recruits out there are still getting their offers and forming their lists for the summer. That's when it really begins is the Summer Camps and when our coaches will be able to visit with the prospects some in their towns. It's funny that most don't even know that coaches can't go visit recruits they offer until late April.

Lol. Fire kiffen. You guys are crazy. Everytime I see some thred like this it makes me want to cancel my membership... We closed with a top 10 recruiting class and started in November. I think we will be fine, after all it's April. Wait til the season starts and we are winning all those games. Im with Coach Kiffin, Can't wait to sing Rocky Top all night long. Go Vols

Wake up! I get tired of this arguement. Look where those teams sign the majority of their players. The fact is we don't live in a state that pumps out D1 recruits like a factory. Its the way it is and always will be. We have to be more selective than those other schools. Besides its april and signing day for the last class was last month. Think about spring practice or something. Go out and party or get laid, do something besides bitch all the time.

Florida and Texas can look in their backyard and snab 5 star recruits. Bama is just the hot pick right now. Tennessee is coming off a losing season, give it time and Kiffin will have us ANOTHER top 10 class!

Unbelievable post, commits mean nothing. Bryce was committed to Miami this time last year. Doesnt mean squat till they sign the dotted line. We will have a top 5 class next year.

Any chance CLK is using a similar recruiting strategy? Lots of silent commits early on that we don't know about. Seems like this strategy is fairly common. I wouldn't get too worked up over the class of 2010 for a while.

I doubt it. I think that we are just behind in recruiting because of the new coaching staff. They are still playing catch up in the recruiting game. I am not worried though because Kiffin is excellent at closing in recruiting.

I think CLK is doing a great job recruiting. Hey at least we got Bryce Brown! Maybe with this new team we can win all thirteen games this year, I know big dreamer!

OP might have been kidding around... but I guarantee you there are a few people around here that are positive that the sky has already hit the ground for the 2010 class.
